Here's an idea, how about NO MORE EXPANSION! 04-cheers Since the PAC-10 is not going to add unless it has to, and the MWC has publicly said it won't go beyond 9, how about the WAC stops worrying about adding teams and starts working on being competive with these other two western conferences?

9 is awkward for basketball scheduling, but the MWC has 9 too. Maybe the WAC and MWC teams could work out something between them and schedule more interleague games during the conference season to give each team not playing from both conferences a game.

Now that sounds like an idea Bob! :bluethumb: Along those lines, La. Tech and TCU could be travel partners for basketball if schedules worked out. IE La. Tech plays USU, TCU plays UTAH; Tech plays Nevada/San Jose, TCU plays SDSU/UNLV or something along those lines. I'll bet it could be doable if both conferences worked together. Sadly, though, I don't think the MWC gives a rat's about helping the WAC, which makes this whole idea just a dream.

BTW, does anyone know who this David guy is? He posts obvious stuff on every board and that's it. I almost think that he is an admin or somebody trying to pull our legs. Its like he posts stuff just to see if he can get someone to bite.
