DENVER - Western Athletic Conference Commissioner Karl Benson today announced a staff change and one new hire within the league office that will enhance the marketing and media relations of the league.

Steve Macy was promoted to Associate Commissioner for Marketing and Corporate Development. Macy has been with the WAC office since 1994 and had been serving as the Assistant Commissioner for Business and Marketing. He will relinquish his duties as the WAC’s business manager and devote all of his time and attention to marketing and promotions for the league.
