As good as Dominick looked the other night, he is a much better basketball player than he is a football player. I ocached him for one year and my son played on his teams for a bunch of years. He is the 2nd most talented player I ever coached and without a doubt, he has the highest basketball IQ of any player I ever coached.

Don't judge him on what he did while playing for Colerain. Kerry would not allow talented basketball players to be on "his team" if they played basketball. Three players were good enough to effectively say, "The heck with you Kerry. I'm going to play basketball." Dominick is now playing football for UC and the other two are now playing college hoops on scholarship.
