Gotta be careful of those late night/early morning return trips from Vegas!
Seriously though, I wish these players and their families well and hope for speedy recoveries.
Three Utah State Players Injured in Accident
Associated Press
LOGAN, Utah -- Utah State safety Antonio Taylor is questionable for this week's game at Middle Tennessee State after a car accident that injured him and two teammates on their way back from California.
Taylor, defensive back Eddie Gilmore and kicker Jared Jakubiak were involved in the accident Sunday morning just outside of Las Vegas. The players were returning to Logan after going home to California during the off weekend.
None of the players broke any bones, but did have scrapes and cuts.
Coach Mick Dennehy said Gilmore, who is redshirting this year, fell asleep at the wheel. He and Jakubiak were wearing their seatbelts and Taylor, who was sleeping in the back, was thrown from the car.
"I would guess that it would be a stretch for Antonio to play this week," Dennehy said.
Taylor, who is tied for the team lead with 47 tackles, had started the last three games after Terrance Washington went down with a season-ending injury.
The Aggies (2-5, 1-2 Sun Belt) visit Middle Tennessee (3-4, 2-2) on Saturday.

Gee, when it rains, it pours for Utah State.
Are the Aggies changing coaches for the start in the WAC?

This issue is a hot one. Some say he is as toasty as Ron Zook, others say he may get one year to see what he can do in the WAC. Either way, the Ags will probably have a new coach this year or next...

Wow...Taylor was thrown from the car and only had scrapes and bruises! He should count himself blessed.
Not to make light of this but I was surprised to hear that it was 2 safeties and the kicker. I've always operated under the assumption that all kickers and punters were kind of the team outcasts and kept to themselves hoping that nobody would notice them or duct tape them to the goalposts.
