1) Hawaii-Didn't play last week but have a big week ahead with their own tourney. Ideal situation would be to have them get to championship game and beat Clemson (currently 19th in RPI) in that championship.

2) Rice-Losing by single digits @UCONN isn't anything to be ashamed of. The WAC is desparately searching for a win to hang our hats on so a win @Syracuse would be a great christmas present

3) UTEP-Swept future WAC member NMSU. Will continue their heated rivalry with Occidental later this week.

4) Fresno-The Oregon game was a game the WAC needed. The Bulldogs get a chance to redeem themselves with a very good Pacific team coming to town on Tuesday.

5) Nevada-Wins against Florida Atlantic and Eastern Illinois sent the RPI in a tailspin. UC-Davis on Tuesday will ensure the Pack enters WAC play at 6-3.

6) SMU-Beat a struggling Baylor team and this week the Mustangs will attempt to give the WAC a 2-0 record against the mighty Hawks of Maryland-Eastern Shore.

7) LaTech-Beat Memphis and we'll think about forgiving you for the rest of your OOC results.

8) Tulsa-Beat Oklahoma and we'll definitely forgive you

9) Boise-If the Broncos lose to Elon I will personally start the Boise to MWC campaign.

10) SJSU-A win over UC-Irvine would have been huge. Need to beat Montana State on the road this week.

Broncos have improved a lot in the last 3 weeks. Oregon State has it all this year and will be a top PAC10 team.

Broncos can be counted on to finish above their predicted WAC finish which is 8th. Broncos will finish between 5th and 7th.

They are starting to be fun to watch again.

Do you really think Oregon St will be a top Pac-10 team?
I haven't seen them play so I was just assuming that they were down again since they lost to a very bad Georgia team and also lost to UNLV by 25, two teams that Nevada handled pretty easily.

They had 3 missing starters prior to the Boise State game. They will return their last missing starter this week. They are big on the inside and quick in the backcourt. They really have not shown how good they will be yet. I was very impressed after seeing them up close!

Broncos were short a player in the Saturday game. Ellis has a sort back and saw limited playing time!!! Hope he recovers quickly. Ellis is a senior and arguably the best player in a Bronco uniform.

Cool...I didn't know about the missing starters earlier. Hopefully they'll have a great year as they'll be impacting Boise's RPI as well as Nevada's RPI this year as the Pack has 3 common opponents with the Beavers this year.

And good to see LaTech give me one of my christmas wishes with a win over Memphis. Let's go Tulsa!!

Hey RenoPack, any chance that you will be headed to Boise in March?
Half of the Western Semi-Regionals will be held at the TACO Bell Arena on the Boise State campus. Always great fun for the diehard college basketball fan.

That's a good idea. I've always wanted to attend a regional but never had the foresight to plan ahead. I'll have to start working on the old lady. Hopefully, by New Years I can talk her into it.
