Now that the MWC has added TCU for a current total of 9. They would need three more for 12 to create a championship game. I would guess that Fresno State, Boise State, and Hawaii make the move.
That would leave three spots open in the WAC. and If the PAc Ten graps Utah and BYU. I would think that Nevada and Utah State move too at that point. That leaves NM State, San Jose State, and La Tech without a chair. La Tech might be Sun Belt bound and NM State and San Jose State might be Independents or drop to D-AA.
I would say that the current members get the WAC back to the western roots of the league. La Tech-Hawaii is a long trip for non-BCS football.

The MWC will probably not go to 12 anytime soon. The WAC has the opportunity to improve scheduling, exposure and money. Why would any team want to make, at best, a lateral move?
