Hello, I am MartinSpartan.

I've been following San Jose State since the early 70's since I first attended. In my family, I have a difficult personal situation since my brothers attended Stanford and Fresno State. As you can imagine, family discussions have been a bit one-sided lately. That will hopefully change in the next few years.

I was only an occasional poster on the Owlzone WFF and keep my posts mainly to Spartan Phil's site, with a few to Spartan Thunder.

Welcome to all new members (USU, NMS, & UI). Now if I can just get through these dull summer months to the best season of all - college football.

I am BMF. I went by that username on the old WAC board... and by bmfarley on the Poly and BWC boards. Go Fresno State!

I did not post on the Owlzone forum simply because it was hard to keep track of all the new posts from the many users there. However, I'm and looking to make this place my second home.

My name is MondoMiner and I'm a Mineraholic. Posted on the owl board as well as several other boards (I go by HookemMiners on some, since I'm a graduate of UT).

Although I think UTEP made the right decision in moving to CUSA, I will always be a fan of the WAC (yeah, even NMSU). I will continue to check in on you guys, and maybe talk some smack once in a while. (Actually, I'm not much of a smack talker). As I've posted before, I think the WAC is a GREAT conference with a perception problem. I hope all the schools stay in and build it up.

I'm nwp, that stands for Nevada Wolf Pack. I have followed Nevada for 25 years, through the football up years and the basketball down years. Nevada Football is on the way back and basketball is great right now.

It still upsets me when I read that nwp stands for nevada wolf pack. I spent countless hours trying to figure out what that could possibly stand for and the obvious never jumped out to me. I must say I was a little disappointed when I found out you weren't a pirate from Northern Wales.

Anyways, I'm Reno Pack (was Packman on Owlzone and am EZRowdy on the Nevada board).

Glad to see traffic on this board is picking up and can't wait for football season to begin.

I don't want us to be the Confrence the PG-13 movie everyone's *really* hoping makes it happen. I want the WAC to be like the guy in the rated R movie, you know, the guy you're not sure whether or not you like yet. You're not sure where he's coming from. We're a hungary confrence!!!!
