Check THIS out:

<a href='http://www.ncaasports.com/track-and-field/results/outdoor/2005/div1/finals/050608F020' target='_blank'>Boise State at the NCAA track & field championships # 1 in the nation (after 5 events)</a>

This is the second consecutive year that Gabriel Wallin has won the Javelin throw at the N.C.A.A. national track & field championships. In successfully defending his NCAA championship Wallin became the very first athlete from Boise State to ever win TWO N.C.A.A. national championships in any sport. However this is the fourth time that a Boise State student athlete has won an NCAA national championship in track & field events.

Mattias Jons of Boise State also finished second in the nation in the Hammer throw at the NCAA national track & field championships!!

P.S. Jons is just a Junior this year....he'll be back next season. And he also competes in the Shot Put for Boise State as well as the hammer throw. He redshirted at Boise State in 2004 after winning TWO Junior College national championships in the Hammer Throw.
