That would be sick . . . . could he then be the greatest UNC player of all time?

Tyler is nowhere near ready for the NBA. I am not sure he will ever be truth be told. He has a real tough time against guys his size. We will just have to wait and see.

I think you're right, Rick. I don't think Tyler is ready, and I worry that he'll never be ready. He doesn't have the size to match up against NBA centers nor the quickness to match up against forwards. He's gotten where he has because of sheer hard work and determination, and that should help him at the next level too. Still, I worry that his game may get lost in the pros.

As for whether he'll leave early or not, I think it depends on whether he thinks he can improve his draft stock or not. He may stay one more year just because it looks like he'll be going up against a less-talented crop next year. Or, he might leave after this year hoping that any flaws in his game haven't been spotted yet. Sometimes it seems like the longer these guys stay, the more their weaknesses get pointed out. They don't look as shiny and new as the younger guys.

That is how these things work, kid was projected lottery last season and this year the lists I have seen this year have him at the end of the first round. By the end of next season he will be maybe mid 2nd. He should leave, but Im not sure that he will.
