Had a real nice conversation with Rams yesterday and he is very proud of this get. Really good to see EMU getting some of these guys. Nice to feel positive vibes around the Convo.

RE: Stringemwell has somne hot B Ball recruiting news
This kid could be one of the more interesting recruits at EMU since James Head.

This kid apparently was very lightly regarded (see fanasonic's post) until July.

His offers were Army and Denver. Whoppee.

Then apparently had an excellent July.

How good is the kid? Don't know.

I remember James Head. A good prospect from his junior year. Had an All-World ABCD camp at Bowen and he got to be a very hot prospect committed to Iowa. (Don't know if anyone here was there - I was - but James played on the Michigan team which was LOADED and running like greyhounds. James got a bunch of finishing baskets on breaks which may have made him look better then he was).

Sometimes these AAU and all-star games make some players look better then they are AND make certain team players look LESS talented then they are.

James had mediocre senior year (don't think his h.s. team was a full court team) and Iowa backed off claiming 'academics' - which was baloney.

Then James had a very mediocre frosh year sitting on Braun's bench.

Is this kid a one-month wonder? The real deal?

HuronDave, can you just go talk to rams? I'll be in Ypsilanti soon and would like to meet him, maybe talk to him about the new recruits.

Thanks.

EMU Steve you seem to have some info and alot of comments about EMU B-Ball. By the way do you know or remember who the coach of that good MI team you were refering too that James H. was a part of. And the last time I checked Mr. Head played on one of the most prolific EMU teams in history as a major contributer. Dont always be a glass half empty guy like you always appear to be ! PS dont forget to let me know who the coach was.
