I am going to be in town the weekend of 10/29. I would like to go the EMU/WMU game. Just want to know how much of crowd do you expect? I will be coming from Royal Oak and expect a drive of no more than one hour. One last thing do you believe the 3:00 PM start is solid or subject to change. I will not be able to do a night game.

How good are the concessions? Is there kid friendly food/snacks?

It is subject right now, but after the season starts you can pretty much count on it. EMU doesnt usually draw large crowds but it being homecoming should help some.

Since it's homecoming and Western, it will be our biggest crowd of the year, which usually means less than half full. The concessions are bare-bones standard fare; hot dogs, pizza, pretzels.

The nicest thing about games at Rynearson is that everyone parks in the same lot, so there is a good amount of people grilling/drinking beforehand.

I'll be there too hanging tailgating with my cousin who attends EMU. I've been to Eastern's campus, but never to your football stadium... is it nearby?

I'll be there also. The stadium is pretty far from campus. Couple of miles I believe. Parking isnt' that hard though as far as I know. I've been to rynearson a few times and have never had to park anywhere other than the main lot.

TheTrav, if you're hanging out with a friend who lives on campus, they run a free shuttle between the stadium and campus.

The game got picked up by ESPN Plus and is now starting at 3:30
