Is evolution true?
another evolution thread

I saw this graphic on another thread and found it interesting:

Looks like we're second from the bottom of NATO countries and Japan. It does look almost evenly split right down the middle here.

yeah, asking people their opinions about something is a real scientific way to determine what is actually going on.

maybe we can vote on a good formula for the area of a triangle next...

They always said Clinton was good at using surveys to find out what was going on.

I remember them saying he used surveys to determine what he thought, but I never heard he was good at it.

Surveys aren't any good except for seeing what people think [or don't think].

I'm positive that Fanatical isn't trying to prove evolution with a survey.

It works for Global Warming! (Duh-dum!)

I just thought this was interesting to see what the thought was in different countries.

I am not sure what he was trying to point out but if this graph is true, I came up with the conclusion about half of the US is 01-wingedeagle

Oh good, now we also have Dr. Whogivesashitabouttheenvironment posting again.

True. But some more than others. It appears about 50% based on that chart.

well remember evolution is a theory not a fact and the biblical believe is hardly anymore then a theory as well. so i guess its up to the individual.

Go look up the scientific definition of a theory and then tell me if what the "biblical" believe would qualify as a scientific theory. Thanks.

Evolution vs Creationism...

Well you can see evidence of evolution in terms of things changing over time.

However Evolution can't say where point 0 is.... something had to start it all

Well evolution is a scientific theory. Usually when creationist shills are saying that evolution is a "theory not a fact," that is what they are referring to. It doesn't matter if you are saying it or not.

And as for your statement, I suggest that you look it up. Evolution is a theory AND a fact.

Quote:However Evolution can't say where point 0 is.... something had to start it all
Very true. Evolution makes no stand on the origin of life. The beginnings of life on earth (or anywhere) are still very mysterious.

Just like every other president including Bush Jr.
