OK I happened upon this performance of The Beatles "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" from George Harrison's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony a few years back... Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne do an OK job, but then.... WOW. Prince's guitar solo just blows me away.

This man is insane.

Prince can play 19 different instruments .... he is amazing!

It'd be interesting to see Prince to a total Rock album, leave his weirdness behind.

Wow! Never really knew Prince was that freakishly talented with the guitar.

Prince is a talented dude period. That said I much prefer his earlier work to new stuff even though from what I have heard off of 3121...this could be his big comeback into mainstream music.

I bought 3121 just for the hell of it, and I was pretty surprised. It's damn good. I liked pretty much every song on it, although I wished it was more of a guitar album. Still, it's good stuff.

Purple Rain was a great album, though. Hard to beat that one. I love the Sign of the Times CD also.
