I still say that all these players leaving early hurts the NBA more than it hurts college basketball.

while it certainly hurts the nba, i don't think anybody really cares about the nba....can you imagine what some of these players (past and present early draftees) would have been like in college ball if they had stayed for their junior and/or senior years? i for one would have loved to see them stay (as long as it didn't result in the terps getting more losses <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> )

To me though, one of the interesting things about college is the fact that there always are new players & it is not a star dominated sport. So, it doesn't bother me(unless its a terp!). I like to see team play & I don't think the fact that some stars leave early hurts that aspect of the college game too badly.

This is good news in terms of wilcox...both of these guys hurt his draft position. Both are ready for the NBA...Butler will go in the top 4.

Butler was definetly ready to go, and with all that he has been through in his life, there isn't much point for him to stay.

Butler's NBA stock soared with he splendid performances in the NCAAs, he will go lottery.

Butler is an NBA player and he played like one in college. Butler is my early pick for Rookie of the Year next year.
