You're right. My bad. I went a little overboard with that one. My personal opinion (when I'm a little less hot-headed) is that we will win, but not "smack around" Wake.

I wouldn't be surprised if we did, though. And, I wouldn't be surprised if Wake won another close game. The only thing that would surprise me is a Wake blowout.

Actually, we NEVER blow people out. I enjoyed the wins last season but that damn team gave me a coronary every freaking game.

That's probably the only ass-whuppin you've given us since I've been alive (don't quote me on that, I have no clue if it's for real or not).

Like I said, I believe we've scored 30+ on you like every game in the past 12 except that one. That year was a fluke like none other -- this year in basketball will be the same.

<hr /></blockquote>Actually, Peppers was looked on as a top 5 pick. It just happened that Carolina was second, and that they needed a DE. Sims really tore it up at the senior bowl, and that helped his stock quite a bit.

As a Clemson fan i have to give credit to the beating UNC gave us last year. Far and away the most impressive win anybody has had at Death Valley in a very long time. UNC did more than FSU has in Death Valley. That's saying something.

I mean to stop Woody for only 75 total yards (thats passing and rushing) is just amazing. Plus to score 38 in deathvalley even with a pathetic D is impressive.

And as for the Wofford game, we took them way to lightly and let them score some early TD's but that was it. Last 3 quarters we dominated.

One of the few accurate statements I have read is that FSU will be #1, Duke will be last, and everything else is a crap shoot. Bunting did a great job with the team last year. He did, but do not go around bragging about how you stomped Clemson on their homecoming when Wake came from way down at halftime to beat UNC on their own homecoming. Which is more important. Wake won three homecoming games last year - @ UNC, @ UVA, and our own. Wake lost all but one game by one possession and have 17 returning starters.

georgia_tech_swagger was very good in his assesment of UVA.

You are kidding yourselves if you think that Clemson is not going to be good this year. Did anyone know about the JC kids they have coming in at LB? Ask UNC about Willie Simmons. Their 2 RB's are better than slow ass Zachery. Their receivers are as good or better than FSU's. They have a new DC and the DB coach is also new.

I do not think Maryland is going to be as good this year; they will not be bad either - just not top 3.

This is going to be another fun year in the ACC.
