This may seem impossible, but think about it.

What is the answer to (a-x) (b-x) (c-x) (d-x) ....... (z-x) ?

The "......." stands for all the rest of the letters up until Z.
zero
Correct!

Explanation to Riddle #5:

you would eventually hit (x-x) which is zero.. multiplied by everything else, you get zero.

I went in the woods and got it.
When I got it I couldn't get it.
So I left it there, and took it home.

What is "it" ?

Riddle #7

There are three words in the English language that end in "gry".

ONE is angry and the other is hungry. Everyone knows what the third ONE means and what it stands for. EveryONE uses them everyday, and if you listened very carefully, I've given you the third word.

What's the 3rd word that ends in "gry" ?

None of them. Godzilla and a smart blonde don't exist and the dumb blonde couldn't find her way to the top.

Judges...............

we will accept!

We were looking for:
- Godzilla and the smart blonde don't exist (check)
- The dumb blonde would need directions

That's close enough.

well...since the acceleration due to gravity is a constant 9.8 m/s^2, they'd all hit the ground at the same time (neglecting wind resistance)

Incorrect. We don't live in a vaccum 03-wink

Refer to emme's answer and my slight explanation.

I've seen this before and this is what I found when searching for it before:

The answer is supposedly "language."

I don't particularly like this explanation, but here it is: http://dictionary.reference.com/help/faq/l...uage/g/gry.html
