Marquette goes from final four to NIT

The 2003 final four team Marquette, just lost to TCU in the first rounf of the C-USA conference tournament to TCU 64-62. Marquette finishes with a 17-11 record after going 27-6 a year ago. It appears Travis Diener wasn't enough to carry this team back to the NCAA tournament. It appears that last year was a fluke and Marquette will return to mediocracy.

I don't think Marquette will ever be a consistent power, but that's shocking to see their bubble get burst by TCU. Tom Creen is still a very good coach. As long as he's there, Marquette will always have a shot at making the dance.
