Some web sites just don't look right in Firefox and I've been told the problem is in the site, not Firefox. I downloaded the extension to show these sites in IE. Is there a way to make these sites look right in Firefox? I guess I should ask is there a simple way for a novice to do this.

No. Sites pander to MSIE b/c it is most used b/c it's stocked pre-installed in every Windows.

MSIE sucks, and sites than pander only to MSIE suck.

There is nothing you can do short of e-mailing the webmaster and telling them about it.

Thanks, Swagger. I had a feeling that would be the answer. One thing I disagree with you on, the sites don't suck. The fact that I can only view them properly in IE most certainly does suck.
There are two sites I have trouble with, both having to do with high school football in SC. One is set up by a man for one high school, and he gives a lot of good info, and he doesn't make any money on it, in fact it costs him a good bit.
The other is set up by a newspaper, so they should know better.

the reason they suck is because the person that created them only previewed them in IE... this shows that the person probably doesn't have the highest tech IQ

the content might be great, its the design that sucks

Tarheelsben1, I'll agree with you about the site that is kept by the newspaper, that seems to be laziness on their part. The other site I was talking about, well, that guy may not know a lot about setting up websites, but I know he's a very good Mechanical Engineer with a degree from Ga.Tech.
