Have any of you had any trouble with a virus called spy bot.exe? I've gone as far as wiping my hard drive clean and reinstalling windows and putting Norton on before I connect to the Internet, but it keeps coming back.
Can it get embedded in the BIOS or something?

Most modern BIOS chips can only be flashed by signed updates fromthe vendor of the chip. If you have an older mother board (2-3 years) it may be possible. it sould be a worm call w32.ogid. it is a worm that can attack mapped drives on your network or pass through peer to peer programs. Symantec virus definitions beyond October 6, 2003 will detect it.

I don't know how old it is, but it's old. Norton is now supposed to be completely updated, so maybe I'm done with it.
