not quite as bad as all that southern garbage, but he's not that good either. IMO, he's one of the top 2 or 3 out of the south. He has a better flow than most of them.

an album i recommend is "feedback" from Jurassic 5. It comes out July 25th. I bought it and downloaded it, and i def. think it's worth the 10 bucks.

Ludacris is probably my favorite rapper out there, and he has been since he first came out, but damn it seems like the guy has a new album coming out every six months.

Great club song and one of my favs right now....

Benny Benassi - Who's Your Daddy

But I might attribute my liking of the song to this UNCUT, UNCENSORED video that is NOT SAFE FOR WORK OR CHILDREN!

Jurassic 5 is still around? I haven't heard about them in a LONG TIME.

AS far as Luda goes... I'll but it and I'll probabbly like it but he needs to up his subject matter from the same ol' same ol'

New Helemet CD comes out this week. I really like them. They are like hard core w/ a rap sensibility in terms of breaks. They DO NOT RAP in their songs however.

I like the music but for whatever reason the vocals(not lyrics) on this cd don't sound as good as they used to. The cd is a pretty solid effort if you are already a fan of them. I don't think it would turn on new fans.

Caught the whole song of Church from ICe Cube, Snoop, and Lil Jon...not too bad ...mayeb Swoosh is right on this new Cube cd. 03-melodramatic

04-rock TV on the Radio kicks soo much ass. Just got the new Tilly and the Wall cd. Not as good as "Wild like Children" but I dig it. I also bought the new Sufjan Stevens cd. It's good, but it wasn't supposed to the triumph that "Illiniose" was. "Avalanche" and Aladi Stephenson" are my two favortie tracks. Oh yeah and the third version of "Chicago" the multi personality one.

I have recently been listening to a group called Saxon Shore. It is instrumental (I usually am not a fan of instrumental), but for some reason I just really like it. My favorite tracks are probably The Revolution will be Streaming and This Shameless Moment

I have also been listening to a group called Band of Horses. The vocals are a little different, but I think that is what makes it noticeable. Favorite track by far is The First Song, but also like The Great Salt Lake

Would be interest to hear a review on either Rock Kills Kid or Halifax if any of you have heard their new stuff.

Muse - Black Holes and Revelations

This is came out this Tuesday and is already one of my top albums of 2006! Its musically and lyrically awesome and just blows me away! Powerful lyrics with that electro rock sound. Something that I suggest everyone check out.

I saw that it was out, but I haven't heard any of it. If you get a chance do a review. Maybe you could contrast it against Absolution.

Yeah, he's not for everybody. He's very mellow, and I love Belle and Sebastian.
