Wow! Had no idea this thread would get this many replies from MY comment on the original post.

My point in my statement was to ask a question, not make a jab at women or admonish 450bench for what he said.

I have a problem with many who write on this board as if this were a male-only locker room and practically anything goes, including comments about female genitalia, ugly women and frequency of having sex. I am no prude, but that kind of stuff has it's place.....and it's not HERE! (See Babe of The Day Board)

To the men who post here: Can we not be gentlemen on this sports message board? Is that so hard to do?

I know there are some who do not respect my opinion and there are some whose opinions I discount as well. But this is not just an opinion I am stating. THis is a matter of civility and conduct. It's up to you how you choose to conduct yourself on this board. No one can enforce one's morals, nor is anyone here trying to!!

Just ask yourself, if I were not an anonymous poster on the Internet would I actually say things that I type here on the board? I'm done.

I'm also a tolerant person and it does bother me. If others start this little jab every time something negative is said about females than it will become a big issue with some here. I could care less about how ugly some cheerleaders are or are not. The problem I had was the response about "some of our fans who post here are women"...thing....come on....bashing any/all females are not an issue here....I guess maybe I'm just still too sensitive about yesterday's happenings. Maybe I should just shut up ?

Okay..I think I see your point now. It wasn't the original comment about the cheerleaders that upset you but TigerTitan's jab at the women of this board being offended because of yesterday's incident.

I apologize for being too vague earlier in my post. But here is the thing. A guy comes on here and posts about the SMU cheerleaders. It was in the wrong board but let

Evidently I didn't make myself clear on what upset me.....and you know what...it really doesn't matter because there are more important things to worry about today. I think everyone is just a little sensitive over what happened yesterday. I know I am but for different reasons than have been expressed on the board.
