What is most frightening about this thread is the fact that umbluegrey can spend a great deal of time researching to find constitutional discussions regarding marriage and the separation of church and state

If they are statistics out there, then why haven't you provided them?

umbluegray - I have no problem with someone indicating that their religious faith prohibits such and such and as a consequence, they don't want that behavior or belief exhibited in or associated with their institutions. No problem there. I suspect this is your real motivation. I also suspect that you're taking this further and attempting to make a rational agrument that supports your religious beliefs and which extends to those others who do not have those same convictions.
So, I'll guess I'll say that I don

Quote: In 1978, a study done by two homosexual doctors revealed staggering statistics. Of 685 homosexual men, 589 (83%) had 50+ partners in their lifetime, 497 (73%) had 100+, 394 (58%) had 250+, 284 (41%) had 500+, 182 exceeded 1000 partners, an astonishing 26%. And 79% noted that over half their sexual contacts were total strangers. Source: Bell, A.P. and Wienberg, M.S. " Homosexualities: A Study of Diversity Among Men and Women " (New York: Simon & Schuster, 1978.)

I am personally opposed to gay marriage as well as other acts of depravity. For that matter, if someone chooses to copulate with camels or sheep, go for it as long as the camel and sheep consent. Let them do this in the basement so I won't know about it in case they live next door to me. I hope they can get a room together.
Good night and GO TIGERS!!
Why do liberal judges decide what we (society) can and cannot do?
Let the flames and hammering begin! I have better things to worry about.

Oh yeah this seems like a fair website to gather data from. This comes from the front page of the website under "Our three areas of concentration" this is one of them:
"Defeating the homosexual agenda, because it is the biggest threat to the natural family."
I'm guessing these are the same dumbasses that think homosexuals "recruit" people.

Does the truth have a statute of limitations? This reminds me of the ridiculous argument that society has changed and the 200 year old laws are unfair and outdated.
There are plenty of newer studies cited on the web page if 25 years is too old for you.

The study I quoted was written by two homosexual doctors. The group that runs the web site did not sponsor or conduct all of the studies on that page, they merely cited them. You can check the references. The fact that they have staken a stand against homosexuality does not discredit the studies that they have cited. It's refreshing to see someone actually take a stand one way or the other, instead of 'tolerating' everything.
