People are b-tchin and complaing about others that air out their feelings about the TIGER program, we all are fans and we all have the right to cheer when they do good and complain when they do bad. It's funny that the "MISERABLES" wanna say that people should "sober up" when something is posted on this board that they don't like. If you can't see that something is definitely wrong with this program after 12 games then I can clearly see who needs to <span style='font-size:21pt;line-height:100%'>SOBER UP.</span>

20-12 NCAA 2nd Round
21-11 NCAA 1st Round
18-12 NIT 1st Round
17-15 NIT 2nd Round
He was 1-2 in NCAA games and 1-2 in NIT games. So through his first 5 years can you tell me what the hell he accomplished that is so far ahead of Cal's accompishments as our coach? Cal is 1-2 in the NCAA and 9-1 in the NIT. Larry's record in 5 years was 102-58 (63.8%), Cal through his first 4 1/3 years is 99-45 (68.8%).
Take a look at how similar their respective NCAA games were in their first 2 appearances as a Tiger coach:
Larry-
1988 1-1 W vs Baylor 75-60 and L vs #3 Purdue 100-73
1989 0-1 L vs Depaul 66-63
Cal-
2003 0-1 L vs Arizona State 84-71
2004 1-1 W vs S. Carolina 59-43 & L vs #4 Oklahoma State 70-53
Finch's coaching career of 11 years consisted mainly of 2 trips to the NCAA where he went to the Sweet 16 in his 9th year and the Elite 8 in his 6th. So since he had accomplished less than Cal to this point in his career as a coach should we have fired him AFTER his 5th year? If we had fired him would we still have gotten Penny or would he had been a Hog (God forbid)? Would we have still made the Elite 8 in 1992?
Now am I disappointed how the season has gone so far? Sure I am, but for God's sake I'm not ready to fire Cal because he's having 1 bad year. It happens, life goes on, and I'm still watching and rooting for them every single game.
And please don't get me wrong I love Larry and have a lot of fond memories of his time with the Tigers in all phases of his career, this isn't about Finch. It's about idiots wanting to fire Cal 12 games into the season and hire a moron like Richardson.
