Their football coach is currently runing from anything associated with the BCS, because admittitly, he couldn'r handle the pressure. Must suck to be a Memphis fan, knowing you've never won anything in football, and never will. Even in your pathetic conference you are picked to finish 3rd in the East. Hell 5 OTHER CUSA schools are better than you. That's just sad. Oh well, everyone can't be in the SEC, even though they'd sell everything they own ( except their facilities, cause they rent those) to join a real BCS conference. Small time. Oh well, 3 bowl in 100 years of football isn't too bad, for Memphis that is.
These poor pathetic Ole Miss fans just can't stand the fact that we have beat them 2 years in a row and that they blew their only chance since Archie to have a chance at winning the SEC.

I guarentee that Memphis will play in a BCS bowl before Ole Miss plays for the SEC championship, let alone a BCS bowl.

Ole Miss, Kentucky and Vanderbilt are the only 3 teams in the SEC incapable of making it to Atlanta.

Get your jabs in at Memphis, Wyoming and the Citadel while you can, maybe you'll scrape one win out of those three, beat Vandy and Kentucky and talk about how great Ogre will be next year.

Imagine Memphis winning again Labor Day, 0-3, or if you want to go back farther, 4-5, now that would really be something, wouldn't it? An entire decade that proved solidly that Ole Miss sucks, but we all already know that.

You got anything to base that on, other than Kool-Aide and Blue tinted glasses?

The sure fact that I think that Memphis will go undefeated before Mississippi sniffs Atlanta (when no playing GT), much less winning if you all got there. You guys just hired a guy that was a LINE COACH last year. Has never called Xs and Os. Maybe if you get rid of him, I'll change my opinion.

It will happen before Mississippi gets to Atlanta! Both will probably not happen while I'm alive.

And yet none of your smack changes the fact that your best team in 40 years couldn't hang with our best team in 40 years.

Sux, huh?

What's pathetic is how much time you types spend over here.

You must really be worried about that hire.

Whats really pathetic is the fact that ya'll start at least one thread a day discussing Ole Miss and/or Coach O. Click over to the Ole Miss board and see how many Threads are about Memphis. I just come here for the conversation, July is usually pretty slow in the College Football world. I know that you Tiger Fans are going to be talking about Ole Miss. It's makes the day at work go by faster.

Now that's the first time you've gotten it right. I have no doubt the you THINK this might happen, but reality, and what you think are not usually the same thing, maybe even polar opposites. You see, things that haven't happened yet are not fact.

Examples:

Memphis is a member of one of the worst conferences in college football.
Memphis would have to beat Ole Miss 33 times in a row, just to tie the series record.
After Memphis's 2 best years on record, Mighty Tommy West recruited the #8 ranked class in CUSA!!
Memphis has not EVER been to a decent bowl....EVER.
If all goes well, and Memphis goes undefeated, they go to the LIBERTY BOWL. Wow!!!

Facts gentlemen, submitted for you approval.
