Middle Tennessee freshmen forward Dino Hair is going to opt for a redshirt this year because of a knee injury he sustained during the preseason. He had ACL surgery on it and is currently rehabilitating.

MT Guard Calvin O'neil is out for 3-6 weeks, he will be back soon. The frontline is rather thin as the big man rotation as of now stands at Kyle Young, Theryn Hudson and Tim Blue.
