EMU's 8 MAC Titles Sets MAC Record
The eight MAC titles claimed by Eastern Michigan this past year (with baseball in the runnnig for yet another MAC title) is a MAC record according to EMU Sports Information.

The previous best was six by CMU in 2004 and six by KSU in 1985.

EMU is also the only MAC school to have won at least one conference championship per year since 1980.

No more talk now of EMU leaving the MAC, right?! 04-rock

Its too bad we cant play football or basketball.

But where were they talking about going if they left the MAC? Leave D-I?

There was never any talk on EMU's part about leaving the MAC, just mostly posters on the MACbbs constantly speculating about EMU leaving the MAC because of poor football attendance. No basis. Was never going to happen.

softball 02-13-banana
gymnastics 02-13-banana
cross country 02-13-banana
men's swimming and diving 02-13-banana
women's swimming and diving 02-13-banana
men's golf 02-13-banana

i guess you could add baseball in there, as they won the mac regular season title today, but i guess you'd have to take away softball since they didn't win the regular season, just the tournament.

hopefully we can definitely add baseball to that list after the tournament!
