The Bulls won the regular season series against the Pistons. Gave them a nice 18-point whooping in Detroit. We already know we can beat this team. Ben Gordon doesn't only score 7 points very often.

The regular season and the playoffs are two totally different things. At some point the Bulls will have the experience needed to really understand that. I'm not sure this is the time just yet though.

Nothing has reallly changed though bulls still need to win 1 of the next 2 in Detroit and they will win the series. But winning that one game will be tough based on these first 2.

Well yeah, and they also have to win all three in Chicago for that to happen. Chicago could lose one at home just as easily as Detroit could lose one at home. Hell, Golden state was the #8 seed in the West and they knocked off the #1 team in the NBA this year in the Dallas Mavericks. Anything can happen. There's no doubt about that.

Detroit is not winning one in chicago you can take that one to the bank. The United Center is a very difficult place to play come playoff time.
It doesn't matter how good of a home court they have, if a team is better than you then they are better you, whether it is home or away.

Pistons win by 21

And then you have the announcers (who have actually been to numerous games at the Palace) say that the Pistons have one of the best home court advantages in the league.

Pistons hold serve...series winner will be decided by Game 5, whoever wins game 5 wins the series. Detroit won't lose a game 7 at home, but could be vulnerable in game 5.

Maybe in previous years, but in the first two games of this series it hasnt been an insane atmosphere.

You can attribute that to your circus, freak-show PA announcer.

What an idiot.

i dont know why people are fighting about this, we'll find out who has the better homecourt in this series soon enough, the bottom line is the bulls got killed in the palace twice if they want to win this series they have to win there once which isnt looking good right now

There "hasn't been an insane atmosphere" b/c they have been up by almost 20 in the 1st quarter. When that happens, all the suspense from the game is gone and the fans know the game is over.

And Mason is the best announcer in the league- proof of it is he was the announcer for the All-Star game in Vegas. He gets the crowd pumped like no other.

This coming from the guy that said the Toledo basketball team would beat Southern Illinois by 20 points. Therefore, there isn't much merit to what you say. Even when Michael Jordan was dominating the NBA it would have been possible for another team to beat the Bulls in Chicago. There's no taking anything to the bank in the NBA........but only in MAC football. ;-)

Game 3 is going to be a huge game for both team. Chicago is down 2-0 and are a young team that haven't won a playoff series before the 1st round this year against an inferior opponent. Will they wilt under the pressure or get back in the series. If Detroit wins game 3 it is all but over. If Chicago wins game 3 they get the momentum for the first time in the series and will likely come back to Detroit for game 5 with a 2-2 series. And in that case of Chicago winning the next two games will game 5 be the big deciding game.

U know something is going wrong for the Bulls when Big Sweetney is in there so early in the game.

I'm worried about Chicago but not too worried yet. They'll turn it around at the UC

Skiles is a complete dumb***. Our best 4 is mired on the bench and only has been getting garbage time minutes. And today, he was exceptional getting 18 points in limited time. So why the hell doesn't the idiot start him for game 3?

I was not proved wrong on this was I? Toledo would have matched up favorably with SIU.

Even UT fans don't agree with you. Anything can happen at any given time, but SIU was better than Toledo.....no doubt.

It may never be over till it's over --- but the fat lady is singing the second chorus...

Did I NOT say after game one in roadkill thread , the Bulls are in deep trouble and would not likely rebound in game two after being schooled Saturday.... Get out the city of Chicago street san trucks, I sense a sweep coming on....

I take little satisfaction as a Bulls fan for being so smart.

I don't recall anyone taking my wager after last Saturday's blowout and giving 13 points for Monday's game.....

Wanna wager on game three? I will give you points 8 pts and take Motown.

Go Bulls - prove me wrong......or simply annoying.

I think game 3 is a must win for the Bulls. If they win tomorrow, they will gain some of the momentum back on their side and they will be in good shape for game 4. However, if they choke once again, the series is over.

Game 3 decides the entire season for the Bulls.
