Anyone have any feedback on our committs: farris,skipper,frazier???? Amazed at lack of coverage period!

It would be nice if the Ann Arbor News stepped up and reported the status of EMU's basketball roster (transfers, recruiting, etc). The News only reports something when EMU announces it. They must be too busy covering the UM 3rd string punter again.

It isn't the McDonald's game or even Capitol Classic. It is an ad-hoc all-star game put on by Vince Baldwin who puts on events like this, camps and his pay recruiting site and magazine.

That won't ever get mainstream media coverage.

Vince will probably cover it on his PAY site. That's how he makes a buck. It is how VB pays his bills.

If I lived in MI I'd gone to that game and talked with every player and parent I could and get whatever scoop I could.

Having said that, I'm disappointed that no EMU fans apparently went.

Talking to players and their families at these events, not surfing the Internet, will get the real scoop.

Rehashing six month old rumors from Rivals.com isn't hardly worth it.

What I think happens in April is that Ramsey likes to 'steal' one from Detroit. Medlock, Farris, etc.

Some want to know every kid EMU is looking at. Ramsey wants no one to know who he is looking at. :shhh:

Recruiting fans and the coaching staff have diametrically opposed agendas.
