Wyndham becomes N.O. Bowl sponsor
Two-year agreement is worth $400,000

The New Orleans Bowl is no longer an orphan among postseason games.
Wyndham Hotels, which owns or operates six local properties, will become the first title sponsor of the 4-year-old bowl. Bowl organizers and hotel executives reached a two-year agreement worth more than $400,000 in cash and services.
This year's Wyndham New Orleans Bowl will be played Dec. 14 at the Superdome, matching the Sun Belt Conference champion and a team from Conference USA.

Great news on the sponsor, I've stayed at a Wyndham hotel each time I've been down to New Orleans for the bowl game. The name has a decent ring to it.
The crappy news is that the game falls in the middle of NT's finals next season. :mad:

This is great news for the conference and hopefully we'll see something soon on the new bowl they might be adding for the SBC.

Great news for the NO Bowl. Hope it keeps getting better and better. This can become a great game for the Sunbelt and CUSA!
