80-63 USA wins!
The tourney is still not completely set. The MT/FIU game tomorrow will determine two seeds. If MT wins, MT is the 5 seed and UNT is the 6. If FIU wins, UNT is the 5 and MT is the 6.
The matchups...
1. ULL
8. USA
4. WKU
5. MT or UNT
3. UNO
6. UNT or MT
2. UALR
7. ASU

Some GREAT first round games. UALR/ASU and WKU/MTSU rivalry games will hopefully get people in Bowling Green early!!

A potential Louisiana-Western Kentucky matchup. That will make for an interesting Semi Final.
I belive the Final is being broadcast Live on ESPN2 at 8ET. I think FIU suprises MT and NT takes the 5th.
My Predictions
ULL-85
USA-62
WKU-45
UNT-63
UNO-75
MT-60
UALR-90
ASU-53
ULL-81
UNT-75
UALR-53
UNO-54
ULL-82
UNO-72
((My picks may be slightly biased but thats for you to judge))

I don't see WKU losing to UNT by 18 points at Diddle, considering we beat them before.
In fact most of your scores are way too spread. It's TOURNAMENT TIME! Their aren't many blow outs like that. UALR is not going to beat ASU 37 points!!!!!

UALR tough and ASU is below mediocre. You guys have been way down hill since we snapped your streak at EA. I just don't see the opening round scores being that close.

So because you beat us in a shooting frenzy, we are down hill now? Lets not kid ourselvses. ULL barely won and you won on 68% shooting, I don't see that happening again. And, to further prove my point, we beat UNT AFTER playing you. In fact our record after our loss to you is 7-2. ULL fans shouldn't think so highly of themselves that they think they caused the decline of WKU, when in fact we're doing just fine. Hopefully ULL makes it to the second round to play WKU for a great rematch.
Oh, and ULL has done great as of late? Seems they are the ones that have gone downhill.
I'll admit if I am wrong, but WKU will NOT lose by 18, and NO WAY UALR wins by 37. In fact what's to say WKU can't defeat UNT AGAIN?

Anthony Winchester scored 40 points he averaged 14.2 for the season. I don't see him scoring 40 points again either.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, both teams have to get by the first round matchups to meet each other in the 2nd round. We lost to ASU once this season, so we'll have our hands full. Also playing UNT is going to be hard, good luck to both teams and we hope to see ya'll in the 2nd round.

I just wonder what UNT team shows up. Is it the team that scores a big win against ULL or the team that gets pasted by USA.
If we can get Hopkins, DeGrate, and Johnson all going at the same time, we are good for an upset or two.

Cajun Fanatic,
Don't get too cocky....the Jags are peaking at exactly the right time...and both ULL-USA games this year have been wire-to-wire. WKU Jeff: WE'LL see you in the semis.

Your lucky to even be in the Tourney. I wouldn't get your hopes up were you. Remember the Cajuns have never been knocked out of Round 1 of the tourney two years in a row.
