It's called putting 9 guys in the box and hope for the best. Those teams' best weapon is the run game, so you make them beat you in the air.

We allowed 215.8 yards rushing per game to our opponents in 2003  . We are switching from a 4-4 to a 4-3 next season. Whatever it takes we MUST improve our rush defense.

Go ahead, put 9 in the box for Cobbs. Our opponents will be surprised with North Texas' passing attack this season. We're loaded with receivers this year. :D

I think we will see a major overhaul in the defense next year, b/c of the juco's we have coming in. I hope they all perform like expected and we'll have a much better defense next year.

Teams will greatly underestimate NT's offense this year. Good. FAU, Colorado and Baylor will be only the first to suffer!

Yes we will be better, but when you are in the bottom 1/4 of D-1 O's you don't have to do much to improve. It will all be on Hall. If he can hit the open deep man, we could be deadly, if not it will it will be like Memphis all year long.
