I'm seeing Eastern doing more and more promos. Someone sent me a paid column that EMU Athletics is doing weekly (?) in the A2 News. Also the Sunday a.m. show on radio.

My guess is that these kind of advertising and promotions are money losers but a good faith effort to try and do something to increase attendance.

I believe the thought is that we need butts in seats no matter how we get them there.

It is no longer a revenue issue but a perception issue (crowds less then 1K are an embarrasment to any D-I program).
