Cajuns destroy the Harvard Crimson. Sweep the weekend beat Michigan Friday night, and Harvard Saturday & Sunday. For the season we are now 14-6. Last non-conference game is this Tuesday vs Lamar. Conference play begins this Friday at the Tigue vs Western Kentucky. We now have a 5 game winning streak

I hope we can beat a good Lamar team to have some momentum heading into conference play. I think we'll go as far as the pitching will take us.

Correction:Last Pre-Conference game is vs Lamar, we still have
4 games vs Northwestern State
2 against Nichols State
Another game against Lamar
1 against Tulane
1 against SELA
and 2 against Mcneese
Our "Non-Conference" season is far from over, still have a solid 11 games against Non-Conference compitition.

Its cool, you had me freaked out cuzz I dont follow the schedule close, I read the paper or a forum and see when games are, and when I read that that was the last OC game, I had to double check myself.

I'll do that. I don't get much chance to go out with these kids around but hopefully during spring break in April I can make that way.

I was only able to make it out for the game against Michigan Friday night, so maybe someone could help me with this. Was the Harvard pitching bad or were we really hitting the ball well? I'd like to see us hitting the ball well against good pitchers, not lighting up a team that has bad pitchers.

I saw most of the game Saturday on TV, it seemed a little bit of both to me. I think no matter who was pitching Hawke and Merendino would have it the ball. Those 2 are on fire.

Thanks Swamp. I was watching a little bit of the game while taking a break from doing some yard work, which I actually enjoyed doing (kinda shocking). The team is really starting to come around right now.
I caught Hawke's 2nd homer Friday night. That was just a line drive shot over the right field wall. He is a stud and will do some damage throughout SBC play.
