No Football Review Show this year?
I've seen no notice, either on emueagles.com or Comcast Local, of the "Jeff Genyk Show" being shown this year. I hope I'm just missing the listing. I'd find it troubling if it isn't being produced this year. Comcast Local broadcasts football shows from MSU, UM, WMU, CMU, Wisconsin, Iowa, ND, Purdue, Ohio State, Ball State, NIU, and GVSU. EMU doesn't have much of a presence in SE Michigan's media as it is. Without a television presence, on Comcast Local or elsewhere, that leaves only a 2 station radio "network" for media outreach in the biggest market in the state. I have seen more TV ads for EMU football this year and that's very good but being on TV is important to the modern high school athlete. A D-I school which doesn't have its own televised football show is going to have problems recruiting against those programs which do.
