Hiring completes the coaching staff for the 2004-05 season

LAFAYETTE – University of Louisiana at Lafayette men’s basketball head coach Glynn Cyprien announced Thursday the hiring of Carlin Hartman as assistant coach – the second addition to his coaching staff for the 2004-05 season.
The addition also completes Cyprien’s coaching staff which includes former Marty Fletcher and Jessie Evans assistant Robert Lee along with Bill Pope who was hired on June 15.
Hartman comes to Louisiana-Lafayette from Rice University where he had spent the past two seasons as the Owls’ director of basketball operations.

It seems like coach Carlin Hartman will be a great addition to the UL basketball program. He sure does have a real good basketball resume for such a young guy. I know he will be able to recruit some real talent over the next few years.
Also I know that he will be able to schedule some stronger teams to play the Cajuns that will help make better teams in the long run.
