sign-ins seemed to have slowed down, still can't believe with all the Mean Green fans that come to this board that UNT only has 1 fan that has signed in

We won without me doing any Louisiana "political" counting :D Besides be very proud of my fellow Cajuns, I am pleasently suprised at the turnout by FIU fans. Not to take anything away from the UL Indian fans who signed (tied FIU for 2nd) in but often times when schools first learn of a board they stop by to check it out and then go back to what they are use to (other boards). I hope this is not the case and that for every 8 of those Indians that signed in we will gain 10 more. My point is that FIU has had a board here since I took over earlier this year and that MaXx has done a good job as moderator and in helping get people over here. He was one of the first to take over as a team mod. Of course I wish there had been 140 Cajuns fans, 80 Golden Panthers fans etc... but we are growing and getting better. If we could only get the lurkers and visiters to join in the discussion we would have a very active board (as it is I think we are around the 3rd or 4th most active conference board here at NCAAbbs). For example, off the top of my head I know of at least 6 Cajun fans that visit this board that did not sign-in. I see guest visiting our Cajun board every day. You lurkers (people who sign up but do not post) and guest need to join up and post. Let your opinions and ideas be heard. We are a young conference with schools not all that familiar with each other, the more interaction we as fans have the better we will know each others programs and the easier it will be to develop rivalries. I can't think of any better place to do that than right here at SunBeltbbs. Anyway, thanks again to all who particiapted in the contest it was just for fun and to pass some time until football season starts :)

Thanks for the nice words. I don't want to take anything away from the other FIU message board though, as that will continue to be the main board for FIU talk. This board I consider somewhat different in that we have all of the Sun Belt schools and that creates a difference of opinion than just solely having fans of one school giving their opinion. I'm hoping the FIU fans (and fans of every other Sun Belt school) that have signed in here will continue to come here and post in their original boards as well. Hopefully this board will continue to grow and expand so that the Sun Belt can have a nice large online community.

In addition, nice job by Swamphound for getting the word out to every conference member about this board. I came to this board a long time ago before he was involved and it was a ghost town.
