Just so all of you guys know, these bigger schools are afraid to come and play in our house. Iowa State comes to Troy next year as part of a 2 for 1 deal. They are now scared and are trying to buy their way out of it. I hope our AD does not let them and we give them the whipping they deserve.

Yeah, I can see an Iowa State trying to get out of coming to Troy. If you guys beat Mizzou at Movie Gallery this Fall, then ISU will really try to get out of the contract.

:D  :D

No offense-

But I don't think Iowa State is scared of Troy.

And, even if they are- it's Iowa State. I'm not sure you can even consider them a "bigger school"

Knight go back to your little CUSa shanty. What exactly has UCF done since DC left???
It would not surprise me in the least on Iowa St since Troy is a tough mid-major.

Iowa State is in one of the power conferences that controls college football; that makes them a 'bigger school'.

I'm sorry.

We envy UNT's titles in the Sun Belt.

I'll leave it at that....

You consider Vandy, ISU, Rutgers, Arizona, or even Illinois a bigger school just because of their conference affiliation?

Most of those teams aren't any better than most mid majors, if not worse.

I hope Troy beats ISU- and frankly, they should atleast once or twice.

That is correct; if you ain't in one of the power conferences then you ain't squat in college football. It is sad and I do not think it is right, but that is the way it is. The MAC, MWC, CUSA, WAC, and the SBC are the 'also rans' of 1-A college football.
