NCAA and offseason contact rules

What's your thoughts on UF Zooks suggestion that if the NCAA allowed coaches to have more contact with their players in the offseason, maybe they would get into less trouble.

Marcus Vick was suspended from VA Tech for the season and I figured it's a good time to ask the question.

I am sorry but Vick got suspended for the season b/c he is an idiot. Having coaches around would do little to control some of the jacka$$es of college football.
Same with Willie Williams going to Miami.

I can't argue with his state of mind. It was stupid. ESPN did a piece last month, on at least 9 different schools who had player issues this past off season.

Makes you wonder if they were busy, would they still find the trouble or even have the time.
