Usually we hear all bad stuff about the BCS bad guys, but this is really a classy move by Mac Brown and the Longhorn team!

UT will have moment of silence to honor UNT QB

AUSTIN – Texas will observe a moment of silence before the kickoff of Saturday night's game against North Texas to remember UNT quarterback Andrew Smith, who was killed in a car accident in early August.

"Because North Texas is playing its first game without Andrew Smith, we felt this was the right thing to do, considering they are opening on the road," said UT coach Mack Brown, who lost a player – Cole Pittman – to a fatal car accident in 2000.
