MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - This Saturday's season-opening college football game between Middle Tennessee and No. 10 ranked Florida in Gainesville has been postponed due to Hurricane Frances. The game will be moved to October 16 with a kickoff time scheduled for Noon eastern.

Afterall, LSU was wedged in the middle of Middle Tennessee's schedule in 2001 and they only pulled out a 16-point victory against us after going on to win the SEC West title that year.

Besides, Middle Tennessee can really use the $500,000 Florida is paying us for the game.
