I have opened the Lounge, Big East, C-USA, MAC, Sun Belt, and Memphis areas.
I have fully disabled the Memphis portal and suspended further portal work until we're on the new box.
As a more extreme step, guest viewing of the Memphis board is disabled. For the time being, you must register to view the Memphis board. This may be done to other boards to stem the tide.

All day long I will be in chat, and I highly recommend that you guys use the chat room feature to help take the load off the server. The chat room has virtually *zero* effect on our server. Chat Room: http://www.ncaabbs.com/chat.html

If we start loading slow and sluggish.... don't become part of the problem. I know your natural reaction is to refresh and start loading up multiple pages... that's only going to hit up the server harder. Just wait a min and give it a shot.

I'm going to try my best to ensure the soul of NCAAbbs limps through the college football weekend entact and up.

RAPID FIRE LOADING BY NON-REGISTERED MEMBERS AND MINI-DDOS ATTEMPTS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED, AND WILL RESULT IN AN IMMEDIATE GLOBAL APACHE BAN, NO QUESTIONS ASKED. SO IF YOU'RE A FAN OF A RIVAL SCHOOL HERE AND YOU'RE PLANNING TO HAVE SOME FUN, YOU WILL BE TERMINATED WITH EXTREME PREJUDICE.
