Thursday, Sept. 9
Missouri at Troy (ESPN2; 6 p.m.) Come on Troy punch Mizzou in the face

Saturday, Sept. 11
Florida International at Youngstown State: Tough game for FIU
(Sunshine Network; 4 p.m.)

Middle Tennessee at Akron (5 p.m.) Blue Raiders should roll

New Mexico State at California (5:30 p.m.) Good Luck Aggies, Cal is tough

Louisiana-Lafayette at Louisiana Tech (ESPN+; 6 p.m.) Go Cajuns!!!

Florida Atlantic at North Texas (6:05 p.m.) What seemed like a UNT victory is now a toss up, can we say Jet Lag

Arkansas State at LSU (CST; 7 p.m.) Hopefully Arky St can keep it respectable, which is poosible after last weekend

*Idaho at Utah State (7:05 p.m.) Do not care who wins since both will be gone, but give the nod to USU

Mizzou at Troy: Somehow, some way, we gotta do it! Go Trojans!

FIU at Youngstown State: Traditional D1AA powerhouse. A loss is forgiveable, a win would be much better than your average win agains D1AA team. Go FIU!

MTSU at Akron: Drop 50 on them MTSU! Lets have the SBC go 2-0 vs MAC.

ULL vs LaTech: Battle for pride for all of us. All of the SBC and all of the WAC will be rooting for the Cajuns. LaTech too good to be in our conference? Beat them and lets go to 1-1 vs the WAC!

FAU vs North Texas: The rest of the league watches this for 2 reasons. 1.) Can North Texas bounce back? Will this be the year they let go of the stranglehold grip on the SBC? 2.) Is FAU for real and do we all have to be very, very worried? Go both teams for a good game with no injuries.

Arky State vs LSU: Could be closer than the experts think! But look for LSU to leave the starters in the whole time to try to run it up and impress the pollsters. If Arky keeps it close, then major accomplishment and the rest of the SBC teams have another team to look over the shoulder at.

NMSU at Cal: Some people think Cal is overrated...maybe NMSU having their defensive players back will help them get to Aarron Rogers. This would be a huge upset if SBC wins this one.

Idaho and Utah State: Idaho didn't defend the pass too well last week. Not good for them. Both teams need to play better defense. Could be a shoot out or could be 10 to 10. I wouldn't touch the over/under on this one with a 10ft pole. Play a good game and don't get anyone hurt.
