KATC just reported the same thing but said Jackson was a safety and Robinson (Roberson) was a fullback.

Talk about recruiting for UL is like talking to a deaf and dumb mute. Nothing is ever mentioned. Enough said I guess, but I would sure like to talk to the head football coach.

I am sure he would be interested in hearing how he should do his job. I know I love to be told by someone who has never done my job how to do it :rolleyes: Red, I understand wanting to hear some recruiting news but man, lighten up. We have done well in recruiting since Coach Bustle took over. It may not be the "big" names you are looking for but we must be getting better players, we have improved every year since he has been here.

I hear that the QB from California (Ryan Meyers) has been putting up some impressive numbers. I saw his name here a while back.

Also looks like he is about to commit to Nevada. I hope we don't let another one get away.

I hear the kid is not only passing but running the ball like a wild man. I am also understanding that he is considering other PAC 10 as well as other D1A's and will commit soon. What are our coaches thinking...He would have commited to us early to be near family and we let him get away!!! If we want the butts in the seats we better get it when the getting is good. Hope it is not too late to get this California QB. :mad: :bang:

I wish all of y'all criticizing Coach Bustle and his staff in person or on the phone. Since he obviously has no clue what he's doing and you guys do, he might want to hear how to do his job.

Grow up people! Geez!

Nikecamp, thank you for your words of wisdom. I agree with you and a (few) others on recruiting, but it seems like we are outnumbered in responses. Just keep on plugging and stay in there with the big boys. Hope to hear from you again real soon about recruiting and some good players that didn't get away.

I am way up here in north La. and I don't hear to much about the cajuns, because 99.5 of these people believe and follow LSU.

Memo to Nike and Longview Red;

The Cajuns don't need the QB from California, we have Babb for two more years and Desormeaux. The Cajuns are recruiting 6-3 QB Hundley from STM, 6-4 QB Babin from St. Amant, 6-1 QB from Erath and 6-1,195 QB athlete from the Houston area.

The Cajuns are also recruiting another kid from Galena High, a CB named Patton, WR Luke Aubrey 6-4,207, WR Beau Lasseign 6-3,187, DT Seth Adams 6-2,290 ST.Augustine, RB Kendrick Perry 6-2,195 St. Amant, RB Wallace 5-9,185 Texas top 4 RB's, RB Shaun Alexander 5-9,185 Cecilia, OT Alexander 6-5, 300 Carencro just to name a few.

You will hear more soon. We are going to have a good recruiting class if we continue to win. We have raised more money for recruiting budget already this year compared to past year.

CajunGuru, I agree with you and many thanks for the information on recruiting. All the guys that Bustle and his assistants are looking at a fine bunch of kids. One of these players is a blue chipper.I sure hope that they are still looking at Marcus Green (RB, 5'11", 175,4.5), Bastrop. He is a awesome back and also a blue chipper.

Thanks again for the recruiting news.
