Should the BSU game turn lopsided and ugly by third quarter, will NIU have covered the spread before playing alot of twos and threes for more than 15 minutes?

JoeN cares less about the margin and more about simply winning with class and PT for all the players possible. However, he is also cautious about NOT risking any chance of loss of momentum and for goofey things to go wrong too early in a game like this one is expected to be.

How large a margin and how much time remaining before he pulls the plug on Horvath & ADavis?

I think it depends on how dynamic the game could get. Against Kent state it was CLEAR we wernt going to lose. Sometimes tho you get a good lead and you know the other team is capable of coming back....like miami

I am going to say ADavis may not get pulled till a little bit after Horvath. Next week AJ will probably be back, so why not give AD his time. A senior who has worked hard and showed it on the field deserves more PT than guys who get to do it all the time.

As a fan i'd love to see clanton and Prime, but I really feel that davis deserves this.

Agreed. The only time our O-play suffers is when you put in the backup O-line. Our O-line IS our offence, in many ways...IMO

I also agree. They make all the playmakers look good on O. GW, AJ, AD run for more yards, and Phil has more time to throw making better throws for more yards and more completions to our receivers.
