I think this is because most posters are responding to their home messageboards instead of responding on the NCAA general messageboard. This may be the main reason that activity has slowed down tremendously.

Probably because most teams don't have much to celebrate and talk about right now.

is it just us or all the other SBC boards dead too? I think things will pick up when conference play gets in full swing. Right now, based on what has happened so far, it seems the title is wide open.

I agree; there are several in the hunt for the SBC championship and the NO Bowl slot. I think this will be a good year for SBC football; conference play will not be dominated by UNT or any other team.
