Game winning field goal made with 25 seconds left to clinch the win. Antoine Spann returns an interception for a TD with 11 seconds left to make it 43-34 Cajuns. Cajuns take a knee on the PAT to avoid it being blocked and returned for 2 points which could have made it 43-36. Cajuns move to 3-2 on the year.

FIU had this game, dumb penalties cost them. That penalty for a holding of a field goal try by the cajuns to end the first half was BS. Gave them a TD instead of FG.

Congrats to the Cajuns on a hard fought game. That QB Babb is the real deal!!!!We FIU fans (at least I am) are kind of disappointed, since penalties did cost us the game. We can't use lack of experience anymore as an excuse for mental mistakes......however disappointed I am at the end result, I'm optimistic about the level of improvement our team has undergone. Particularly impressive since we had only playd 1 game in 5 weeks of the season, due to Hurricanes and the sort.....

Oh well....... :bang:

I realize my first post did not give FIU their due credit for playing a hell of a ball game. You guys have every reason to be proud of your team and optimistic about the rest of the season.

I was there tonight, it was a fun game, but definitely disappointing as an FIU fan. Our defense has to improve and we definitely need to stop making such stupid mistakes.
