A little too close for comfort there at the end but good win overall. I think SFA was ranked 5th in
I-AA.

Yes!! They were ranked #5 in the nation coming into this game. Very happy with the win, but after leading 31-10 in the fourth, it got to be a lot closer than what it should've been......

Great win against a tough team, this team beat us last year here in Miami, 35-13, it was nice to return the favor. 04-cheers

I agree fellow fans!! Great win even though we should have continued to dominate the game throughout instead of becoming complacent and letting them attempt a comeback. I am still happy overall and am starting to realize how much we've grown in the last 3 years. Go FIU!!! 04-cheers

With the addition of Troy and next FIU and FAU coupled with the departure of the Far West schools, the SBC has become a good, regional conference. The Florida schools will help SBC football considerably.
