LAFAYETTE — UL Lafayette football coach Rickey Bustle doubled his number of verbal commitments for the 2005 freshman signing class this week, getting a commitment from fullback Chancellor Roberson of Galena Park High in Houston.

Roberson (6-1, 240, 4.6 40-yard dash) visited the Ragin’ Cajuns for the squad’s first home game against Northwestern State, and committed to the Cajuns after being recruited by UCLA, TCU, Oklahoma State, SMU and Baylor.

with Cones being a Senior we really needed a fullback.

Galena Park is a real good football school with a lot of good recruits. I think that Robertson will make a good fullback for UL and he will really add to the rushing attack in the future. Welcome aboard Roberson!
