It seems like Andrew Clarke has dropped a lot of passes today. In my own observations so far, I think that Holmes has played better but Clarke seems to get more playing time.

Well...

Pitt 37
Toledo 19
Final

Offense played well, but too many dropped passes and turnovers. 2 turnovers inside the Pitt 25 yard line.

Defense could not stop the run early. Then when we stopped the run they killed us with the pass. Hefflin is out with a possible concussion and that made the pass defense worse. We did not get any kind of a pass rush on Rutherford and that attributed to it too.

Our kicking game is awful, punting is fine just extra points and field goals. Maybe our punter can do a better job on extra points and field goals.

See everyone at the Glass Bowl in a couple of weeks for homecoming. We will have to take it out on the Ball State Cardinals!

I don't think testicle tech is looking forward to visiting the Glass Bowl. After what they did to us last year, the game today, and having two weeks to get ready for the game, we will be coming out for some serious vengenance.

Hey guys....I'm back. I've been super busy with my trip and catching up at work.

Here is my summary of the game. We are not that good of a team. Don't jump to conclusions yet....I'm not finished.

We have a lot of potential, but a good team does not make the mistakes that UT made on Saturday. I counted 4 crucial penalties that a good team does not commit on the road. I think I counted a delay of game, personal foul and two holding calls.......so...at least 40 yds on those plays alone.

I also noticed that a few receivers dropped....flat out dropped balls. A big no-no during the game.

Our pass defense was absolutely terrible.....I mean pathetic. Pitt should have had another touchdown...the pass was right to #87 when he was on the goal line.......not a Rocket within 7 yds.....and he just dropped it. Pitts second TD was not a TD....he never had possession....but hey....it wasn't a close game...so it didn't matter anyways.

I cannot tell you how many times Pitt receivers were wide open in the middle of the field with at least 5 yds between them and Rocket DB.

UT was only rushing 3 or 4 tops......so they got absolutely no pressure on the QB. With the numbers he put up........you'd swear that was Marino back there!!!

I won't get started on all the turnovers. I counted three times UT was on the 25 yd line and driving when they turned it over......just horrible.

To summarize.....the Rockets came out flat and made too many mistakes. Game Over. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="mad-flaming.gif" />

Oh...there was one bright spot. Jim Leyland was sitting right behind me. That World Series ring is just unbelievable....wow!!!

I think you are right about Pitt. The had been trying to run the ball all year until they played Toledo. They burned us with the pass, and they did the same to Syracuse. The Pitt receivers were just as wide open against Syracuse as they were against us. I don't feel so bad now.

Bowling Green's 72 points against Ohio really scares me. I can't wait until the come to the Glass Bowl near the end of the season. I expect them to be undefeated going into the Big Game!
