The rest of the nation can get a peek at Thomas on Friday night when North Texas plays at Louisiana-Lafayette on ESPN2. What everyone will probably see him do is set a freshman record for consecutive 200-yard games. He would surpass Herschel Walker and Ron Dayne, both of whom went on to win the Heisman as upperclassmen.

I doubt he'll even be considered for the Heisman regardless how good he is. The BCS schools would have a fit if someone from the Belt was awarded top honors in something. Our Demarcus Ware leads the nation in sacks and his named was pulled off the Lombardi award "inadvertantly".
